Exhibition of Summer Vacation Projects
As per
the tradition of CT Public School, an Exhibition of
Summer Vacation Projects was held today. It was also the
appointed day for the Parent - Teacher Meeting. Each
classroom was impressively set up by the students for
their parents and visitors to see. Projects, Working
Models, Charts, Craft Work, and Scrap Books were put up.
The creativity and hard work of the students was
acknowledged by one and all. Students were seen proudly
explaining concepts to parents. There were Models of
Science, Social Science and Mathematics. There was
creative work of all subjects and it looked like a
rainbow of creativity.
The
Principal of the School, Mrs. Lakhwinder Kaur visited
each classroom herself and interacted with students and
parents. She said, “It gives me great pleasure as an
educationist to see my students’ work. The under
understanding of concepts and mental growth is quite
visible from their quality work. Especially when
children work on their own at home, it boosts their
confidence and self esteem heading towards a positive
direction.
KARATE CHAMPIONS OF CT PUBLIC SCHOOL
Karate
players of CT Public School brought laurels school by
bagging seven medals in Inter School District Karate
Championship held at New St. Soldier School, Jalandhar.
As many
as 8 schools participated in the championship and Karate
players from CT Public School gave a tough fight to the
opponents.
Dimple
Kapoor bagged a Gold Medal while Shubham Sharma,
Sukhjeet Singh and Gurjot Singh bagged Silver Medals for
the school. Three Bronze Medals were picked by Shubham
Kumar, Vishal Singh & Baljinder Singh.
The
Principal of the school, Mrs. Lakhvinder Kaur
appreciated the hard work of the players as well as the
excellent training being given by Coach Mr. Sahil Kumar.
She asked the young players to have a good diet and to
strike a balance between sports and studies.
An Ace Swimmer of C T Public School
Shaurya
Pratap the Swimming champion of C T Public School has
added another feather to his cap. Punjab Agricultural
University organised 34th Junior and 23rd Sub-junior
swimming and water polo championship in Ludhiana from
10th July to 12th July,2009.

Partap Singh, a student of IX standand brought laurels
to the school by winning the following medals :-
1. Silver medal in 50m breast stroke
2. Silver medal in 100m breast stroke
3. Bronze medal in 200m breast stroke
The
Principal, Mrs. Lakhwinder Kaur appreciated the feats of
this enthusiastic and zealous student and had all the
commendations for him.
Magic Show in C T Public School
C T
Public School organised Magic Show in its premises.
Students from Kindergarten and primary classes enjoyed
the magical tricks performed by the magician. Students
were amused to see pigeon coming out of an empty hat and
garland from a stick .
 The show lasted for an hour.
According to the Principal, Mrs. Lakhwinder Kaur, it was
a good break for the students who are coping up with
their curriculum.
